I am very pleased to be part of the great team of lawyers at this firm. I practiced law with Bob Deutsch for 18 years before joining the other members of this firm. At our former firm, Deutsch & Gottschalk, I handled a wide variety of legal matters for clients in North Carolina.
I moved to Asheville in 1993 from North Florida to attend Warren Wilson College, and have not wanted to leave since. I obtained a BA in Literature at Warren Wilson and worked on the college farm. My wife, Meredith, and I married in Asheville in 2001 and we have two daughters and one terrier mutt.
As a lawyer, I represent nonprofits, small businesses, and individuals in business and real estate litigation and transactions. I also assist clients with estate planning, guardianship estates, and succession planning. The focus of my work is always maximizing the value to the client.
