We are pleased to announce that W. Scott Jones, our managing partner, has been recognized by Business North Carolina magazine with selection into the Legal Elite Hall of Fame for litigation.

Business North Carolina has covered the state economic landscape since 1981.  Their annual Legal Elite rankings honor outstanding legal professionals, nominated by their peers within the legal community.  Approximately 4% of all practicing attorneys in the state were selected as Legal Elite this year, and out of those recognized, one in each of 17 fields was selected for the Hall of Fame.

To be named to the Hall of Fame, Scott was voted for by fellow lawyers across the state. This recognition is a sign of genuine respect and admiration from those who understand the rigors of our profession.

Scott is the first lawyer from Asheville to be inducted into the Hall of Fame for litigation. This not only highlights his skill and dedication, but also puts Asheville’s legal talent in the statewide spotlight.

Only 317 lawyers have been named to Business NC’s Legal Elite Hall of Fame since it began in 2002, with only 8 so far from Asheville.
